We are pleased and proud to tell you that Vox Holloway has won Arts Council funding for this summer’s concert ‘The Prophet’. This news has only just reached us and means we can fund the animateurs as they rehearse and lead the choir and work in two local schools as part of this project. We can also fund a newly commissioned piece by Harvey for the concert. Our thanks go to Janette Ballard, a member of our committee, who worked with Harvey to make the grant application.
Rehearsals start at 1930 hours this Tuesday 23rd April, with front desk open from 1900 hours if you want to get your score and subs sorted before warm up. We are celebrating the history of the Fisk Jubilee Singers this Easter and supporting the work of the Not for Sale HOME soup campaign as they work to end modern slavery and trafficking. Vox Holloway have a lovely program of old and new spirituals on offer on Easter Monday, 1st April at &.30pm at St Luke’s West Holloway. Tickets are now on sale at £12 and £5 concessions.
