2012/13 season announced

We’re delighted to announce the 2012/13 season:

  • Sunday, 2 December 2012 (date to be confirmed):  A concert of English and British folk music
  • Saturday, 22 December 2012:  A day of caroling to spread cheer in local elderly care homes and raise money in a local pub
  • Thursday, 14 February 2013:  A Valentine’s Day celebration of 500 years of love songs, performed by semi-choruses formed from Vox Holloway’s regular singers
  • Spring 2013:  A charity fundraising concert of gospel music
  • Summer 2013:  A performance of Harvey Brough’s The Prophet

Rehearsals for the December concert begin on Tuesday, 18 September, at 7:15 pm in St. Luke’s Church.  Please be prepared to pay your subscription for the term (₤30 or what you can afford) and to buy your music (more information on the exact amount will be emailed later).  As a reminder, there are no auditions, you don’t need singing experience or even know how to read music to join in, and you don’t need to belong to any church or faith.  Vox Holloway is open to all singers.
