As Virtual Vox prepares for its second term of distanced music-making, Vox Holloway’s musical director Harvey Brough and star soloist Clara Sanabras joined Radio 3’s In Tune to showcase the choir’s work and give a taster of fabulous things to come.

Virtual Vox was created when the Covid crisis forced community choir Vox Holloway to postpone a revival of Freedom Song, at Hackney Empire. Listen in below, for a taster of our hit show.

Anyone, anywhere in the world, can join the weekly rehearsals for our next online concert, a new choral arrangement of the classic Beatles album, Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The ten weekly evening rehearsals, beginning on Tuesday 15 September, include a warm-up with singing coach extraordinaire Christina Gill, and customised sessions for each vocal section. You can download your own score, or follow the music on-screen. And if you miss an evening, there’s no need to fret – each session will stay online for a week, so you can catch up when you can.

Meanwhile, here’s a chance to sit back and enjoy the musical magic of Harvey and Clara
