For the first six weeks, we will be diving into a classical programme based around opera choruses, put together and led by James. It is some time since we did a classical programme and this is a departure from the norm. We think you’ll enjoy these mighty choral works which we will perform on Oct 13th in a ‘mini-concert’ cum social evening for friends and families.
From mid-October, Harvey has planned a fabulous programme, featuring Misa Criolla, a folk mass by Ariel Ramirez, based on the rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America, and arranged by Harvey with Clara Sanabras singing and on the Ronroco.
We will also perform an original work by Clara, The Mystic Trumpeter. Based on a setting of Walt Whitman’s celebrated poem, it takes us from the tender to the epic. Also arranged by Harvey with Clara Sanabras singing.
This will form our Christmas Concert on Sunday December 13th
